P300 Bowed Rollers
Applications: crease removal - slit separation - web spreading |
| |
| Type P300 bowed rollers are constructed with a premanant bowed axle. Fitting over the axle are a series of rotating bearing housings and a rubber outer sleeve. The plane of the bow can be altered to adjust the amount of spreading force. |
As the web travels over the arc of the bow, the material is stretched thus removing only wrinkles. If the web has been slit into numerous sections the ribbons diverge until arrested by the next path roller.

| When using light materials or the web tension is insufficient to rotate the bowed roller a drive pulley must be used. If possible drive the bowed roller at approximately 0.5% faster than the web speed. |
